Absolute! Framemakers was founded in Orange County in 1985 as an extension of the John Thomas Gallery and was known as "AQL Fine Art Services." In 1991, the shop moved to Santa Monica and the name was changed to "Absolute! Framemakers." We have been in our present location at 8927 Ellis Ave. in Los Angeles (near Culver City) for over fifteen years.

Absolute! supplies quality custom picture frames to galleries, museums, artists and other professionals as well as discerning private parties.
