The requirement here was to construct a double sided custom picture frame
where the art could be easily removed without sacrificing
presentation. The solution was to build a frame where the
art could slide out the bottom of the frame and be held in
place by means of a sliding retainer. The picture frame is walnut
with a solid walnut "mat". Every surface was stained and
clear coated so even when it comes apart there is a uniform
appearance.
